Orthodontic inventory can often turn into an expensive headache. Nothing is more frustrating or more costly than running out of a product when you have a patient in the chair. OC Orthodontics has created a product that addresses all of these issues and more. The OrthoVend Simplified Inventory Management system is a fully automated inventory system. Small enough to fit on just about any counter, the OrthoVend will securely store and track your inventory for you.

The system can hold a month’s worth to a year’s worth of inventory and automatically reorders product once it reaches a pre-designated reorder point that you (the doctor) have set. The best part about this system; nothing is charged to you until you use it. This means you can literally have thousands of dollars worth of inventory at hands reach and not pay for any of it until it is dispensed.

Using state-of-the-art touch screen technology; product is dispensed through a few simple screen touches. The system then records and tracks the product usage and inventory levels in real time. It can also track useful information on bracket usage, treatment class and Div for various treatment studies.

The OrthoVend system will eliminate the possibility of ever running out of product, stock shrinkage, waste and mix ups. It will reduce errors in storage and incorrect product as well as reduce bracket handling, and the chance of possible contamination.

The OrthoVend requires a standard 110v outlet

The OrthoVend machine needs to be attached to a network with an active internet connection in order to function properly. The following network guidelines will help us get your OrthoVend online and running in a timely manner upon delivery.

Personalizing your OrthoVend allows you to showcase the uniqueness of your office. The sky is the limit when creating your custom look; from sleek and stylish, to fun and playful, the machine can really reflect your personality and your office atmosphere.

When you select the custom wrap option, an OC Orthodontics designer is assigned to work on your machine. He or she will work hand-in-hand with you in creating the perfect machine for your office. Never has custom branding been so easy and affordable!

Software Advantage

The real heart of the OrthoVend exists within its online software. The OrthoVend software brings a new level of inventory tracking and transparency to your office. Each and every transaction is logged in real time into the software which is accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. The information can then be viewed and sorted within a set of simple automated reports. The collected information can then exported or printed out for further use.

Accounts can be created for multiple users. Each account is tracked so you may run reports on specific account usage. If you have multiple machines or machines at multiple locations, reports can be generated that show transactions per machine or per site.

The OrthoVend online software checks the machine’s “heart beat” every hour and makes sure the OrthoVend is operating properly throughout each work day. The software also tracks machine-level alarms and current quantities on-hand, and will alert you should there be any issues with the machine from internet connectivity to inventory discrepancies.

Not only is the OrthoVend an amazing inventory management system; now it can be a great advertising tool too. The rotating slide show on the OrthoVend is fully customizable. With this option custom slides can be created to promote your office or make announcements. Place the machine in your lobby or a high traffic area and show off specials, happy patients, or birthdays. Place the machine in your break-room and announce days off or practice policies. The sky is the limit with the extra opportunities of custom slide show advertising.

Each machine can be loaded with 20 custom slides per month. Each month simply email your new slide requests in and one of OC Orthodontics’ graphic designers will custom design them and upload to your machine. This exciting service is easy and inexpensive.
